Business area waste & recycling - the main responsibility is to ensure the development and management of municipal waste management. This includes monitoring permits for operations and the contracted services for, among other things, garbage collection, transportation of hazardous waste, as well as the operation of sludge emptying and recycling centers.

Your Contribution as a Sludge and Vacuum Truck Driver

With us, you will have an independent and varied job where you drive sludge trucks, vacuum trucks, and hook loaders. At the same time, you will become part of a supportive team with helpful and knowledgeable colleagues.

You will work with flushing and maintenance of pipeline networks, as well as assignments within sludge and waste management. Your routes will primarily be in Sundsvall, but also in Timrå and Nordanstig as needed – especially when flushing our own pipelines. You will start each morning from our facility in the Johannedal industrial area.

You are responsible for inspection, daily supervision, and maintenance of your vehicle, and we ensure that you have the right conditions to do a good job.

Your main working hours are during the day, but you will also be part of our on-call group, which may involve work during other hours of the day.

Your Competence and Experience

We are looking for an experienced driver with a C driver's license, preferably with experience in transportation or contracting. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

We consider it meritorious to have:

• CE license
• ADR transport certificate
• experience as a sludge and vacuum truck driver
• experience from the environmental service industry
• experience with the work order system Mobile
• English proficiency
• good local knowledge of Sundsvall and surrounding areas

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness with the ability to distinguish between the personal and professional. In interactions with customers and colleagues, you approach others in a calm, service-oriented, and accommodating manner, with a willingness to always help and find effective solutions. You are attentive and collaborate well with others, and handle situations and potential conflicts in a constructive manner. The role requires you to be self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks. You plan and structure your work effectively with a focus on accuracy and quality.
